Cottonique Began As a Lifeline for One Boy’s Skin and Became a Sanctuary for Millions.
Cottonique began not as a business, but as a fight for relief.
Our co-founder, Vinnie Genomal, grew up with severe atopic dermatitis; even seams and synthetic fibers caused pain. A dermatologist advised: “Wear 100% cotton.” It helped—until we learned “100% cotton” often hides dyes, bleaches, resins, and synthetic threads.
What seemed like the perfect solution soon revealed another problem… 100% cotton rarely meant 100% cotton. With deep textile roots, we created what didn’t exist: garments made with one simple ingredient—cotton. No synthetics, chemicals, elastics, or toxic dyes. Prevention through purity.
From the start, our mission has been personal: we exist for people with eczema, psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis, and chemical sensitivities—people who deserve clothing that truly comforts and cares for their skin.
