Sustainability & Ethical Responsibility

At Cottonique, we use organic cotton that is grown without harmful chemicals. Unlike conventional cotton, which relies heavily on pesticides and fertilizers that can damage soil and water. Organic cotton protects the land and preserves natural soil health. Farmers rotate crops and use sustainable practices to reduce erosion, prevent waste, and support biodiversity. On these farms, animals and insects thrive, while water use is significantly lower than in conventional cotton production.

Our fabrics are carefully processed to remain hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. To create fabrics free from harmful chemicals, we developed a hydrothermal process, which stabilizes the fabric using just heat and water. This leaves us with chemical-free clothing and clean water that can safely cycle back to the environment. By avoiding synthetic dyes and harsh chemical finishes, we create clothing that prioritizes comfort, safety, and environmental care.

All Cottonique garments are produced in our owned manufacturing facility, which is GOTS and B Corp certified, allowing us to maintain strict environmental and ethical standards. Even our packaging is carefully chosen: biodegradable kraft paper with a bioplastic inner lining derived from cornstarch. Each piece is crafted with attention to detail, energy-efficient production, and careful resource management.
