Comfortable, soft, healthy. Everything I was looking for.

I love these shorts. They were out of stock for a long time but definitely worth the wait. Only the blue color became available in late summer, otherwise i would have gotten black. I hope in the future they have available stock so I can get my favorite shorts at the beginning of summer and not near the end. But these are the most comfortable shorts you will ever find.

Very comfortable organic casual shorts - and no allergy concerns!

Due to traveling, I was not able to try these on until 30 days after I received them, since they remained in the paper bag they come shipped in. I tried them on and although I bought the size based on their size chart, it was WAY too big. They are all NEW and unopened aside from the 1 I opened to try it on. I emailed them to return, and they directed me to a return form, which then denied my return although I was within 30 days of the item being delivered to me. I recommend against doing business with this company. I have over $100 in shorts I can not wear and the company does not care.

Had to return for a larger size because they were too small. The larger size fit well!

They pass the shipment over to our local Post Office who are incompetent and, in the end, no one takes responsibility for the tracking or delivery. These are really oversized. The smallest size fits more like a large/XL. Normally wears a medium/large, 6’ tall with a 34 inch waist, and the smallest size barely stays up on him. Which is a shame because there really nice. A few smaller sizes defiantly would be helpful for adults males and teens.

I'm fortunate in finding Cottonique since I do have a severe latex allergy. There may be another manufacturer, but I've not found them. They may be expensive, but they are well made and the improvement to comfort make it worth the price. I do find the newer wide flat draw string to be more comfortable. Now if only more fabric makers would stop their stupid practice of putting Spandex into everything. They seem to not understand that Spandex contains latex. Clothing makers also need to understand that clothing like Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts are made to be worn loose and do NOT need spandex for four-way stretch.

I love these - so comfortable, I wear them as underwear and leave the drawstring permanantly tied so that I just slip them on each time. They also provide the cotton protection for a good part of the middle torso.

For me, it's all about comfort and style, and these perfectly meet both.

When the heat wave hits, it gets hotter than Hawaii here in the pacific NW. The sweat triggers my sensitivities to elastics and spandex. These all cotton shorts are heavenly comfy to lounge and sleep in. So soft yet not form lacking. My waist fluctuate at 27”-30”. The strings are big but not a biggie for me, they just remind me that they were made with care and thoughtfulness.

After I became vegan, I wanted to remove toxic chemicals from my room. The source of these chemicals were mostly Walmart. After buying an organic Birch mattress, I knew it was time to upgrade my clothing to organic. Organic clothing isn’t easy to find. I’m grateful for the Cottonique business and my job at Amazon (8 months) that made starting from scratch possible. I’ll never go back to petroleum based clothing.

These are very comfortable shorts to wear when watching TV on summer nights.

I admire the fact that Cottonique commits to non-synthetic, all natural, organic clothing. But, the amount of plastic they use when shipping their products is ridiculous. Clothing does not need extra plastic air pillows - it's not breakable. The products I received were sealed in plastic and then padded with more plastic. Entirely unnecessary.

Great shorts

I had been searching for a long time for a pair of lounging shorts that DON'T have an elastic band, as I find the elastic uncomfortable when I want to be at my most comfortable. At first, these shorts seemed like the perfect thing.

Unfortunately, they do no offer a waist size small enough for me. Their S/M size claims a 28-34 inch waist, but upon receipt the shorts easily clock in at 34 inches, if not pushing 35-36 inches. Far too big for my typically 28-30 inch waist.
