Mid-length socks that ward off itchy feet and allergic reactions can be difficult to find since most of them are made with harmful elastics like latex or spandex. So we created one without the irritating synthetics through our GOTS-Certified Lightweight Latex-Free 100% Organic Cotton Crew Socks. The material is soft and truly feels like 100% cotton.
However, these socks don’t hold their shape at all. They’re too loose, and slide down during wear. So they’re not practical for regular use.

Your feedback helps us improve our products. We apologize that they do not hold their shape well and slide down during wear. We recommend trying to wash and dry them on higher temperatures, as this may help shrink them a little and provide a better fit. It would also be helpful to know if you ordered your exact size or sized up?

Lightweight Vs. Elite Elastic-Free socks

I ordered both types is socks- the lightweight and the Elite which are a heavier weight. I much prefer the Elite socks. The lightweight socks do not hold their shape as well as the Elite socks. They seemed baggier in the toes and tend to slouch more, comparing the medium size for both socks. I wear a ladies 7.5 or 8 shoe. I prefer the heavier weight of the Elite socks.
I have worn 51% silk & 49 % nylon sock liners under the lightweight socks and fold the top of the liner over the top sock which helps keep the Lightweight socks from slouching and my feet are comfortable with both layers in a wide range of temperatures.
The lightweight socks were available in white, black, and blue at the time I ordered them and blue was not an option at that time for the Elite socks. There are times I prefer a blue to a black sock, so for color alone, I am glad that was an option. I did not order white of either type. Only black of both types in addition to the blue of the lightweight.
Both types of socks was well.
I rate the Elite socks 5 stars versus 3 for the Lightweight. (In my photo, the left & middle pairs are the Lightweight & the right pair are the Elite—all have been washed.)

No more itchy ankles!

Really happy with these socks. They stretch and slouch while wearing but that’s to be expected with real 100% cotton socks. I either top them with another pair of socks or dart them and roll them down, and they actually stay very well like that. I wear a women’s size 10 shoe and went with the medium and they’re perfect. They’re holding up great considering how lightweight they are.

comfortable socks but droopy

These socks are well made and fit well, although for my wide feet the toes feel slightly pinched. My only complaint is that they don't stay up--not surprising because they don't have elastic by design. Excellent for hypoallergenic, but wish they not fall below the ankle.

Great socks!

Very high quality cotton. Lovely color. Completely irritation free. I have a fragrance sensitivity & had to wash these twice to get rid of all scent before wearing them…pretty much my only complaint. Overall, a great buy.

Comfy

I'm a female size 6.5 shoes, bought the socks in small. Very comfortable organic cotton socks. I don't like socks that are very tight. These are not too thick and fit comfortably without constricting my toes. I wear them around the house and to sleep, they stretch and loosen up the next day but after washing they go back to normal shape again. I've purchased the original version from years in the past and they were thicker. I like these and have 7 pairs!

Great color and feel

The blue matches a pair of sneakers I love to wear.
I am so happy with the quality & the organic cotton that is minus so many bad things that "normal" socks all have. Great ribbing. It is nice to have them fit well with extra room but not too much, and that they are not too thick or going to be frail. The seams are great for not making my feet or toes hurt. Improves my circulation and calms my nerves.

Best Fit and Comfort Ever

Love everything about these socks: roomy yet not too thick; amazing good feel and fresh smell. The ribbing matches a nice sweater I have and the color of it too. I am happier with these socks than I have ever been with two other brands of organic socks I earlier got because I hadn't found Cottonique yet. I am so glad to have found these socks for sure and am going to be a customer for these, forever!
