These are very soft and I do like the drawstring, but the fit is very strange. The upper legs are too small and the hips/waist area too big. I can make them work, so I'm going to keep them, but the overall sizing is a bit disappointing.

My favorite pants

I really love these pants. I am 150lbs, 5'8", and a size 7 fits me well. Snug, but not too tight. The fit is flattering and I like to wear them high up so I can move freely and do squats, etc. (Squats are my test to see if pants fit comfortably.) I recently ordered two more pairs in the next size up to see if I like them, but they are too big, however, I figured I could layer them in the cold if needed. The pants are heavier than the lounge pants but not as heavy as a pair of jeans (but who can find 100% cotton jeans anymore?). Thank you for making these pants! They feel like they'll last a long time.

The drawstring is too thin, like a shoelace

I’ve been wearing this style for some years now and just ordered a new pair. They are comfortable except the drawstring is now very very thin about the width of a shoelace, and it is not comfortable to have this thin flimsy piece of material holding up the pants. It’s not comfortable on the back because the little drawstring doesn’t always stay flat. And being so thin it has a tendency to dig in to the waist. I don’t know why they stopped using the sturdy nice comfortable thick drawstring. They may be cutting corners on costs. Cheap flimsy drawstring. I’ve never had any of their clothing come with such a flimsy piece of material. I am disappointed and trying to figure out where to get my organic cotton pants from now because this thin drawstring just isn’t going to hold up like their old one does.

The fabric quality is great, and it's sewn well, but the pant legs are a bit long and they are extremely fitted at the hip, making sitting quite uncomfortable, even when ordered with the correct measurements.
